This Fireball was commissioned for a beach house on Sunset Beach Island in the Brunswick Islands of North Carolina. The owners asked for images of favorite sites on the ocean side of the island as well as the protected bay side of the island. The viewer can see waves, sea turtles, dolphins, pelicans, herons, marsh grasses and sand dunes.
The Kindred Spirit Mailbox is a beloved local site on a secluded stretch of beach. The mailbox contains journals where visitors who walk the 30 minutes down the beach can share their wishes, thoughts, prayers and dreams.
